Days after the lockdown, I volunteered to do donation drive posters for frontliners or any Covid-19 related communication design materials. I was amazed that requests poured into my social media accounts. It was an honor to boost credibility to their donation drives and to provide aesthetically pleasing information design. Then I received a brand request from a friend who is part of a small group from various sectors who pooled funds and purchased medical supplies to donate to medical facilities and currently to major hospitals and communities. Their operations were getting bigger and getting serious so they needed to rebrand to be taken seriously. They called themselves Backliners Ph. I became part of the branding and social media team and also designed the website. Contributing to passion projects like this makes me feel better and also proves that information design has a vital role in aiding information in society especially in these times.
